This virtual synchronous class is focused on new managers and supervisors (those in their first three years) or those wanting to position themselves to move into a supervisor. After taking this class you will:
- Recognize some of the common challenges of moving from sole contributor to leading, including managing those that you used to work alongside
- Learn how to position yourself as a quality supervisor ready to continue your growth in the organization
- Understand more about yourself and your role through several simple assessments, guided reflection, and discussion.
- Be able to apply several key skills necessary for successful relationships with your team such as improved feedback, motivation, and listening.
The six-hour course is designed around leaving the day with skills that you can immediately apply to your own work and relationships making you a better supervisor, manager, and leader right away.
